It would’ve curdled and festered on this cheap linoleum floor, mixing with the dead skin and hair that falls from me, from the dog. I think I even dropped food down there, once or twice. That would have soured too. Becoming green with mould and those bacteria I learnt about at school, in my Food Technology class.
What would’ve happened if I did not mop the floor?
I would’ve decayed with the milk that I had been crying over, becoming more rotten each day.
